Career

Charlotte was admitted as a Solicitor in September 2010, following the completion of her training contract with a notable firm. She joined Stewarts as an Associate in May 2019 and, in recognition of her expertise and contribution, was promoted to Senior Associate in May 2022.

  • Secured a £23 million lump sum settlement award for a young tetraplegic woman injured in a road traffic collision.
  • Secured a £5.85m damages award on behalf of a tree surgeon who sustained a spinal cord injury when he was struck by a falling tree at work.
  • Secured a settlement of £9.8m from the Motor Insurers’ Bureau on behalf of an ex-soldier and Amazon driver who sustained a spinal cord injury in a road traffic incident.
  • Secured damages of £3.5m from the Motor Insurers’ Bureau on behalf of a protected party who sustained a catastrophic brain injury in a road traffic accident.

Publications and Media

Charlotte authored an article examining the complex issues that arise when a catastrophic injury claimant’s lack of capacity is not caused by the negligent act. The piece was published in the APIL PI Focus magazine.
